Elon Musk has successfully tested his Hyperloop One propulsion train. This train is said to be the future of travel. The train was tested in the Nevada desert. The company, which changed its name to Hyperloop One on Wednesday to match with the open-air propulsion test, has also closed an $80m series B funding round which included investment from the French national rail company SNCF. The plan of this invention is to accelerate levitating pods at seven hundred miles per hour or estimate of one thousand two hundred kilometers per hour in vacuum tight tubes.

Following a 10-second countdown, the sled accelerated by more than twice the force of gravity to one hundred miles per hour in 1.1 seconds, or one hundred and sixty kilometers per hour. Co-founder Brogan BamBrogan said this after the test,

“This is rad, and it’s going to get a lot radder from here” .
