5D Memory Disk That Lasts 14 Billion Years

This data chip is five dimentional and can hold up to 360TB (Terabytes) for 14 billion years. This chip can hold data for longer than the universe is old. The material that the chip is made of is "Glass Quartz". This was a huge jump from the orginal chip that could only safely secure the data for 300 million years. The technique uses femtosecond laser pulses to program data in the 3D structure of quartz glass at sizes as small as nanomillimeters.
